In early July 2006 hundreds of attacks were launched against pro-Israeli Internet servers following political tensions from activity in Gaza. These attacks were executed by the Moroccan hacking group “Team Evil”. Among the sites affected was the site of the Rambam hospital and a Citrix server for Bank Ha Poalim. In the last few days there is a re-awakening of attacks of this type. During an on-going incident from the 11th of July, Beyond Security's beSIRT responded and conducted forensic analysis, lead by duty officer Kfir Damari, with the purpose of containing the incident, then tracing the steps, tools and m.o.d. used by the attackers.
