Chaos Legion is a third-person hack and slash video game developed and published by Capcom. The video game is based on of To Ubukata's novel of the same name.

As a Knight of the Dark Glyphs, Sieg is able to sacrifice lost souls in order to summon creatures called Chaos Legion from alternate worlds. When Victor Delacroix steals the forbidden Apocrypha of Yzarc, Sieg must track his former friend down and use his Legions to put a stop to his actions.

The gameplay is similar to other games of the same genre such as Devil May Cry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devil_May_Cry) and Castlevania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castlevania), in that it is primarily action-oriented. Numerous enemies attack the player in waves, and progress to the next part of the stage often requires defeat of all enemies in the area. The main feature that lends originality to the series is the addition of the Chaos Legion, which are supernatural creatures that fight alongside the player. While Legion are summoned, Sieg Wahrheit (the player character) is unable to run and has weaker melee attacks. Legion can be controlled to a degree: their tactics can be switched between offensive and defensive, and players can issue orders for them to attack immediately. While the Legion are inactive, Sieg can perform a sort of "special attack" called an Assist Attack which causes a Legion to appear and attack with him.

You take the role of Scott Mitchell, a captain in the elite Ghosts--the light-infantry unit whose members are renowned for their skill and heroism in the face of long odds. You find yourself in Mexico City as part of the security entourage tasked with guarding a summit between the leaders of Mexico, Canada, and the US. Disaster strikes when Mexican rebels attack the summit, killing the Canadian prime minister and causing both the Mexican and US presidents to go missing. Over the course of the campaign, you'll explore the massive city--fighting rebel infantry, armored vehicles, and helicopters from within the dense, high-rise areas in the center to the dilapidated shanty towns on the outskirts. You'll do this solo and with the help of three teammates--who you can issue simple commands to--and supporting vehicles. Major landmarks, such as Chapultepec and the spire at Angel Plaza, are represented fairly accurately in the game's depiction of Mexico City.

The first thing you'll notice about the game is how breathtakingly massive and believable the city looks. You take several helicopter rides throughout the campaign, and the city is literally sprawled out all the way to the horizon with buildings and streets. Fires and smoke curl up into the sky from patches of fighting or factories. As you land, you find yourself engulfed by the metropolis and plying your way through the maze of buildings, streets, and alleys. The graphic detail extends not only to the character models, which are some of the best we've seen in a modern shooter, but also to the unique lighting and shadows. The sunlight is so bright and intense that it's almost oppressive at times, with the way the glare affects your vision, particularly when you're squinting through a scope. Some people may find this annoying, as the high-contrast lighting makes certain areas very hard to see. But, presumably, this overbearing light is pretty realistic of how daylight can be in a near-equatorial area.

This sci-fi team-based action game is built on GSC's proprietary X-Ray engine.

Year 2012. Six years passed since the time of the Second catastrophe to have made the April events of 1986 fade.

The game is set in the Chernobyl exclusion zone which turned from a destiny-breaker place into a threat to all mankind. The Zone is reluctant to open up its mysteries and needs to be forced to do it. It is a rare hero who can reach the very heart of the Zone onto find out what danger awaits him there.

A danger which, compared to marauders and enemy groupings, all monsters and anomalies, will seem a mere preparation to the meeting with something more fatal and threatening.

But for now... get ready, hero. Collect artefacts and trade, grope your path and keep an eye on the rear, catch roentgens and fight û only make sure you survive! And then, perhaps, if you are persistent and truly lucky, you will find out why all this had fallen on you.

This game is AWESOME!
Graphics are good, even if its 2d only.
the music is cool, its not a sort of syntetised music like older cellphones. I'm a lover of Ahriman's Prophecy, and i have been surprised to see what become the heros of AP.
And i like the multi-ending concept...
Plus, the community forum is very helpful, and if u r stuck somewhere, in 1 hour the problem is solved.
